The Ruh- or Mühlhansenmühle was maintained until 1989 by certain entitled citizens (with land ownership) and operated with a fixed milling time of 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, or 1/6 day. Since then, a mill association consisting of a board, advisory council, and members with or without land ownership has been responsible. Every 2 years, a mill and bakehouse festival is now celebrated around Pentecost. (Text: Alfred Fleckenstein)
