A chapel in the middle of nowhere… You can take a good break here, there are several trees that provide cool shade. On the side, there is a small bench for a short stay. The access to the chapel has grass pavers and right next to it, other stones are embedded to park your bike there.

In the case of the Ebersberg well, the laboratory determined, according to archaeologist Bernhard Häck of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation, that the well was constructed between 1441 and 1444 (or even slightly earlier) and used as a water source until it was covered over and forgotten in the 1950s/60s. "The well was therefore in use for over 600 years," Häck concluded.

Update 04/2026: The area around the well has been expanded. At the wooden hut, there is a switch that can be used to turn on a light in the well shaft. Access from the bike path is possible, as a gate has been installed in the fence.

First mentioned in a document dating back to around 800, the branch church of St. Martin is a primitive-looking plastered brick building from the second half of the 15th century. It houses a remarkable interior, including particularly well-preserved Gothic figures from around 1500. Storks have nested on the gable roof of the church tower for many years.
