The Renton Library is a very special building because it sits over the Cedar River! It's like a bridge for books and people. When it was built in 1966, it was an ambitious idea. The building has big windows, so you can look out at the river while you read.

The woody Wilderness Peak doesn't offer any views but you will find yourself in the middle of the forest. There is a bench to take a break and enjoy a little snack and if you want to, you can sign the summit register.

Very nice trail with some ups and downs. Don't forget to put on long pants because the trail is overgrown in some places.
