Fantastic bike tour around Lake Attersee clockwise (recommended) approx. 52 km. On the west bank follow the R2 via Buchberg - if you like it a bit more sporty (no problem with an e-bike and not always along the main road). Rest at the marina in Seewalchen (Klimt Center). Then back along the east bank, mostly downhill and with many swimming opportunities. Partly cycle path along the lakeside road.

With the appointment of the Schaunberger as bailiffs in 1249, the name Kammer appeared for the first time with Haidfalk von Chamer (Hæidfolcho de Chamer). A castle chamber is mentioned for the first time in 1260. To cover debts, Emperor Rudolf II finally had to sell the dominions in 1581 to his chamberlain and ambassador to Spain, Hans Freiherr von Khevenhüller. He was made a count in 1593. His three dominions, Frankenburg, Kogl and Kammer, now formed the County of Frankenburg.
