It's always lovely to ride by the water in this quiet part of Little Neck.

Good size lake here with trails and paths and fields. Popular spot when the weather is good. I wouldn't really recommend the lake loop on a road bike, though: pavement is uneven and turns to dirt near the north end. Lake Drive is the most pleasant part. Bonus: this is a reliable spot to see nesting Great-horned Owls in early springtime.

Best views of the water you're likely to get in Great Neck, as most of the peninsula is private property or reserved for residents.
