This is a beautiful reservoir on a road which is gravel for about 2 miles and asphalt otherwise. Along the reservoir there is a grassy very small park with two benches which is a nice place to stop.

Martine’s Fine Bake Shoppe is a European style bakery that is a great stop for breakfast, lunch or a mid-ride pastry. It has outdoor seating, so you can keep an eye on your bike while you eat.

Rye Lake is a 920 acre lake in North Castle. It is a popular spot for fishing and you are treated to some great views of the lake as you ride by.

This path is super beautiful and away from the cars. It is probably the best bike path in the Bronx. It will take you to the Empire State Trail and you can go all the way to Canada.
