A short spur trail will lead you to this great viewpoint over the mountains. If you're hiking the Hunter Mountain Loop trail there's really no reason not to take the extra few minutes to hike out to the overlook.

Devil's Path will take you from the junction with Pecoy Notch Trail up to Sugarloaf Mountain. Most of this section of the trail has a very steep gradient between 20-30%. Once at the summit, things flatten out and reveal a well-deserved viewpoint! If you enjoy challenging trails, this is one to give a go!

At 3,650 feet, Twin Mountain is one of the most popular hikes in the Catskills. You will reach the summit via a ridge traverse along Devil's Path with the option of stopping by Indian Head Mountain on your way.
