The Devil's Tree is an oak tree that sits by itself on Mountain Road. The tree is surrounded by legends, the most popular being that anyone that disrespects the tree will come to some sort of harm.

Best Lake is a great, small lake near Watchung. If you are looking for a good place to take a break, there are benches around the perimeter of the lake for you to enjoy the view of the water.

There are nice scenic views of the surrounding woodlands and Blue Brook to be had from here. There is also a nearby car park too, so you could start your ride from here. There are nearby trails to do and the hilltop paved loop on Watchung Reservation is also a very popular short ride.
