The 'Echo Lake' in the 'State Park' of the same name is very popular as a swimming lake in the summer months. A panoramic path leads around the lake; the place is also the starting point for hikes to the rocky cliffs 'Cathedral Ledge' and 'White Horse Ledge' with a spectacular view of the 'Saco River Valley'. https://www.nhstateparks.org/find-parks-trails/echo-lake-state-park

This section of Dundee Road is smooth gravel/dirt. It can be ridden with skinny tires, but exercise caution on some steep sections of the decent.

Jackson Falls is a cool set of cascades on the Wildcat River. You can see the falls from the side of the road both above and below the cascades.

Everything is possible! I went from east to west w a 35kg, approx 80lb, loaded touring bike and I made it. Took me about 45min but it's a great ride. Then head down into Conway! Not much traffic, great road quality. It's short and steep, I walked about 600m (the two 17% parts).

Evans Notch is a great spot to hit while out cycling. The South side is steeper and therefor more difficult to climb. The North side is comparatively much easier. On the flip side, going down the South side is really fun and fast, just be careful of the curves and oncoming traffic. Early morning is the best time to avoid the traffic.
