Walnut Creek Lake is a beautiful area stocked with fish and open to all manner of outdoor activities. The lake is a popular spot on weekends.

Encompassing 70 acres of parkland, Halleck Park has an array of amenities, including walking trails, athletic fields, playgrounds, shelters, and a large pavilion. Papillion Lake, covering a 4-acre area, is stocked with fish throughout the year, providing an opportunity for fishing anytime. A trail goes around the perimeter of the lake, extending even to a little island situated in the middle.
