I found this way to keep going fast on the trail and not have to ride along the side of the busy road, or cross just to cross back. Plus it's a nice looking park with a playground and river views.

I usually take this down the water, and then after visiting down town if I'm heading back to Spring Lake Park, I go up the street, it's a steeper hill, but shorter, and I'd rather do that.
