I have paddleboarded on this lake in the past, it's quite full of milfoil and so can be kind of a challenge to paddle. Plus the fishing restrictions because of the forever chemicals that have leached in from nearby businesses is sad. But it is nice to look out on while pedaling around it!

The gravel/grass trails at Lake Elmo Park are great for both solo and riding in a group I would guess, since they are plenty wide to ride 2 by 2.

Margaret Lake may be dwarfed by most of the other lakes in Lake Elmo Park Reserve, but it's still a very pretty destination. There is a complete trail loop around Margaret Lake, but biking is only allowed on the paved trail to the west. However, you can use that trail to string together a ride on some of the turf trails to the west of Margaret Lake, where mountain biking is allowed.

Like the other lakes and ponds in this area, Berschen's Pond was carved out long ago by a passing glacier. It's best accessed via trails in Sunfish Lake Park.
