A lot of screaming people riding the roller coasters today! One of the only times it's fun to hear screaming. I haven't been on another bike path that goes so close to an amusement park.

For some reason I saw more building ruins today over by the current owners river access trail where they have the canoes and such. They have a little steal shed with a small deck and chairs overlooking the bike path. Looks like some fun land to visit someday if I ever meet the folks here.

Great bridge to get over to the main big bridge, or down to the boat launch and archery range, or just go for a stroll over the river.

Caught glimpses of it today like you say Matthew. Guessing it pops out more in the fall/winter.

Carver is a great park, and it connects to the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail, the gravel one seen in some of these pictures. The main trails for biking in Carver are all paved or single track for mountain biking. They also groom for fat biking in the winter along with having great cross country skiing.

This entry point to the Minnesota Valley Trail is conveniently located off State Highway 101. Ample parking is available, though there are no restrooms on site. From here, the trail heads west toward Shakopee or north across the Minnesota River to Bloomington.
