This path does exactly what it says, it runs North-South through the park. As such it's a good place to warm up before branching off on to some of the other trails within Village Park.

An abandoned farm settlement and Miller Lane stone-wall lined cart path tell of the 516-acre (209 ha) woodland's rich agricultural past.
