Astonishing topographical discovery at the summit of this small hill, the place remaining perfectly invisible under the canopy until the last step. The ascent via the trail provides a feeling of absolute and exhilarating solitude, worthy of discovering an isolated outpost in a science fiction film. The structure offers everyone accommodation at a very low cost, providing an ideal setting for an intellectual retreat, introspection, or a strictly secular mental asceticism. The architecture of sobriety blends so radically into the ecosystem that one can imagine magnificent stays: it would almost suffice to reach out a hand through a window to touch the first tree. A stop for total disconnection, carried by the mere vertigo and the silence of the forest.

A surprising passage, to say the least! The public path literally cuts through the golf greens, and skillfully winds under a thick tree cover offering a double guarantee: that of being protected from stray balls, but also of remaining perfectly discreet. The walker thus benefits from a privileged viewpoint, an amusing opportunity to engage in a little ethnography on the local bourgeoisie's leisure practices. Practically speaking, this segment proves to be a particularly strategic stage. The path opens right in front of the club's cafeteria: the ideal place to enjoy a refreshing break on the terrace before resuming the hike.

As the photo shows, this track is narrow and is also used by pedestrians and people on horseback. I live near it and use it a lot, and am sorry to say that in recent years there’s been a significant increase in the proportion of electric bikes at outrageous speeds. I think it’s time to impose a speed limit.

A great woodland setting for a bit of fresh air, a bit of elevation change, or just plain beauty. There's enough elevation change for some truly demanding trail training, and by approaching it differently (starting near the golf course, for example, and following the valley more in its length), it's also possible to maintain a more manageable elevation gain. The wetlands at the bottom are truly charming. Combine with the golf course, the arboretum, Lake LLN, or the Bois des Rêves. A must-see in the BW!

This section of cycle path seems to enter a tunnel of greenery. The quality of the coating is particularly good.
