Lovely ride - mostly quiet roads and tracks... Bath Arms good place to stop for a coffee. Good lunch in the White Hart after the ride.

The food here is amazing, but be aware that the only way out is uphill - so don't abuse it.

Smooth surface climb at a steady gradient, very nice.

Lots of offroad options once you're up, almost all look doable on a gravel bike in the dry. The two main routes over Brimsdown itself will be muddier than the routes on White Sheet Hill.

Grassy incline from the south, arable field to the north. On a good day doable on a mountain bike, you'd have to have some pretty low gears and good traction to do at least the first bit in a gravel bike. Once you're on the ridge it steps up slowly but has some real ramps that will be a challenge on a wet day. It was tough enough in the dry.

Lovely pub! Good place to stop for a quick drink

Found it a challenge coming up on 40mm tyres E-W, but the descent is a treat. If you've got skinnier tyres or there's been a lot of rain the track directly parallel holds up better in rain.
