Children between 6 and 14 can hammer, build, paint, and, of course, play on the playground. Supervisors are on-site to keep an eye on the kids and also offer special group activities. The playground is open from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The activity is free. You can find more information at https://sozialraum-altona.de/einrichtung/elbe-aktiv-spielplatz/.

Driving up Wessselhöft Park is a much easier way to reach the show jumping stadium and the Botanical Garden than taking the steep, busy Baron-Voght-Straße. Plus, the path along the pond is really beautiful.

The Birkenschlucht in the Altonaer Volkspark - a nice change for your next running adventure. This depression, created by former gravel mining, offers a varied terrain that takes your training to a new level. Don't be fooled by the name - instead of dense birch forests, you will find a fascinating landscape that is guaranteed to spice up your running routine. Challenge yourself and experience how the special topography turns your run into a real experience!

Located in the Altonaer Volkspark, this is the home stadium of Hamburger SV. Two World Cups have already been held here. Concerts are also held here.

Tour from 6.4.24. In addition to the dish of the day (grilled meat), the grilled vegetables 🥒 my companion had were also really tasty. The service was in a good mood and super friendly - clear recommendation for Klempau's PAULANER beer garden in the Volkspark 👍🏼 (PS: the free fries from the table next to us were world class!)
