The "Sattel" hiking parking area is situated halfway along a narrow connecting forest road between Vernawahlshausen on the Schwülme river and Oedelsheim on the Weser river. It offers a shortcut if you don't want to drive the Weser loop at Lippoldsberg and Gieselwerder, which bypasses the Kiffing ridge with Zwerberg and Heuberg hills to the west.
