For me, Güstrow is the undiscovered pearl of Mecklenburg. It's not just this one beautiful view. Güstrow's city center is a complete work of art, just as beautiful as, for example, Stralsund or Wismar.

Very quiet place with a nice swimming opportunity and clean sanitary buildings. Good cycling tours in the surrounding area possible. Shopping facilities in Krakow am See quickly reachable. 9 out of 10 points.

In my opinion, this is a great campsite for cyclists. You always meet like-minded people because there's only one seating area for the tent area, which forces people to sit next to each other, and you always get chatting... which is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the campsite has become a bit more expensive over the years, but it's still worth it for anyone cycling the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route. Best wishes and keep moving 🚲🌬️😉
