Extensive forests surround the Schwarzer Grat. Directly near the summit, you hike through a lush green forest that repeatedly offers views of the Allgäu region. The partially exposed roots are particularly impressive.

The Raggenhorn, or perhaps the Raggenhorn, is a ridge that can be reached on one side via a steep meadow and on the other via a rocky path through the hedges. From the summit, you have an incredibly beautiful view. Next to the cross, there is a memorial stone and a few benches for resting.

It's a Friday afternoon and too cold to sit outside. Inside, it's very simple and possibly still has the original furnishings. The wooden floor is allowed to live on, and every crack is tolerated. My tagliatelle was very creative and delicious, as was the homemade sorbet, served quite simply in a bowl. At first glance, you might miss something around it, but that would spoil the delicious flavor.

The highlight for the kids. Wild over hill and dale! But be careful, especially on the downhill slopes, you need to be sure-footed.
