The most important train station on the south shore of Lake Balaton. Connection to Budapest, Zagreb, Nagykanizsa, Keszthely and around Lake Balaton!

The Südbahngesellschaft opened its railway line between Buda and Nagykanizsa in 1861. Siófok got a train stop in 1863. We consider this year the beginning of the time when Siófok became a holiday resort. The building that stands today was built in 1904, its renovation took place in 1988. The lovingly renovated station of Siófok was promptly chosen as the most beautiful on the lake.

If we delve a little deeper into the explanation of the name, the place name and its location, Jabapuszta, raise several thoughts... Namely: They created this first-class place for cyclists to rest with excellent coffee, sandwiches, drinks, ice cream, and all good things. But why here? This, of course, also has its explanation. So: who would have thought that we would find such a good place here next to main road number 6501?? Even if we are on bikes, it is very pleasant to stop by here. Comfortable, rest stop, cafe in 1.
