As a resident of Kempten, I've been here many times. The cycle path is great because the road is very busy during rush hour. The view is linked to the changeable Allgäu weather with a bit of luck. The most beautiful point is at the end of Lauben at the beginning of the cycle path. I know that road cyclists take fewer breaks, but a short stop at the bakery in Lauben can't hurt.
