From the barbecue and rest area at the edge of the forest, the view extends far into the southern Wetterau – towards Friedberg, Bad Nauheim, and in clear weather, all the way to the Großer Feldberg in the Taunus. The spot is ideal for a short break. Or perhaps a dance instead? Since 1807, the Wäldchestag, a colorful folk festival under a green canopy of leaves, has been held annually in the neighboring Ossenheimer Wäldchen.

The most beautiful way to approach Lich. Two landmarks of Lich can be seen at the same time: the city tower and the brewery (And the logistics center only comes into view when you exit the forest)

Hi everyone, a quick tip: The Niddaroute is not, as is incorrectly described here, a bike path where you can "really put your foot on it," but rather a footpath and bike path where pedestrians have priority. So always be careful. ;-)
