Brüssow received town privileges of Prenzlau and Magdeburg on January 10, 1259, from Knight Heinrich von Stegelitz. The document already mentions a market (with market tolls as a source of income) as well as a priest, which shows that the market and church already existed at that time. The small historical market square was extensively restored in 2002/03 and is a listed monument.

At the intersection of the CPO cycle paths – a Polish-German route following the former narrow-gauge railway line – and the Karwowo–Warnik path stands an eagle (Bielik) with a compass. It is a symbol of discovering new paths and orientation in the field, both for cyclists and hikers. The eagle encourages active exploration of the municipality, contact with nature, and reminds us of the historical and international character of this place.

The White-tailed Eagle figurine made as part of the project: "Kołbaskowskie symbols – signage for better visualization of cultural heritage". One of them proudly stands at the intersection of the Warnik - Przecław cycle path, running through the picturesque areas of the Stobniański Rampart, with the cycle path along the route of the former CPO Casekow-Penkun-Oder narrow-gauge railway (Casekow - Szczecin Pomorzany). The CPO Casekow-Penkun-Oder line was built at the end of the 19th century, starting from the state railway station in Casekow. It ended in Szczecin in the Pomorzany district. During the season, the largest part of the transport consisted of sugar beets delivered to the Sugar Factory in Gumieńce in Szczecin.

From the Szczecin City Council's announcement on the completion of the new tram terminus in December 2020: "One of the most important construction phases at the Głębokie interchange has been completed. Starting next Tuesday, December 1st of this year, trams will return to the Głębokie turnaround point. Tests of the newly constructed infrastructure – tracks, switches, traction, and stops – were completed on Friday morning. The successful passage of the tram means that the turnaround loop is ready for use by public transport. As part of the work completed so far at the turnaround point, approximately 1.1 km of single-track tram tracks have been laid. Door-to-door tram and bus stops have also been built. In the next stages of the investment, the intersection adjacent to the turnaround loop will be converted into a roundabout. A parking lot will also be built. In addition, a building will be built at the turning point itself to serve as a waiting room for passengers and a social building for drivers.
