Lovely view over the Neckar with the wooded hills behind it. There's a wide riverside wall to lean your bike against, and the old half-timbered houses of Hirschhorn are just a short roll away for coffee.

I rode this tour yesterday, but I modified it a bit because I know the Odenwald is a challenge. That's why I started in Diedesheim beforehand to warm up and get going, then a bit along the Neckar and then took the Katzen Buckel via Neckargerach. In the end, it was 110km and 1800 meters of altitude. Great tour with beautiful views and lonely roads. Recommended!
