The Podersdorf am See lighthouse was built in 1998 as part of the redesign of the lido and, with its characteristic red-and-white paint, is one of the southernmost inland lighthouses in the German-speaking world. In addition to its function as an optical orientation aid and light storm warning system for water sports enthusiasts, the approximately 12-meter-high metal tower serves as a striking landmark. Today, it is a well-known landmark of Burgenland as well as a popular excursion destination and photo motif on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl.

The observation tower is located directly on the saline soda lake of the Lower Stinkersee and is situated immediately on the cycle path between Podersdorf and Illmitz. It serves as an excellent vantage point for observing rare waders and water birds such as pied avocets, black-winged stilts, or common terns in their natural habitat. Directly next to the wooden structure, a rest stop with a publicly accessible drinking water fountain offers an ideal refreshment opportunity for cyclists and hikers.

The viewing tower in Hölle is located directly on the Neusiedler See cycle path B10 in the eponymous national park area between Podersdorf and Illmitz. The approximately 16-meter-high wooden tower offers an impressive panoramic view of Lake Neusiedl, the surrounding reed belts, and the salty Stinkerseen lakes, despite its low height. It primarily serves cyclists and hikers as a perfect stopover for bird and nature observation in the protected steppe area.

The Zicksee near St. Andrä am Zicksee is a typical, extremely shallow salt lake in the Seewinkel region, which depends significantly on precipitation and groundwater levels. Due to persistent droughts, the lake almost completely dried up in the summer of 2022, after which the fish population had to be caught. In the meantime, the water level has recovered due to abundant rainfall, which means the Zicksee continues to be an important biotope for rare steppe birds and a popular excursion destination in the region.

The chapel „Maria mit der Traube“ (Maria with the Grape) is located on the goods road between Illmitz and Apetlon, directly on popular cycling and pilgrimage routes in the Seewinkel. It is a relatively young sacred monument, built only in 2005 and dedicated to the Mother of God. The name directly refers to the long tradition of viticulture as well as the region's significance as a well-known predicate wine-growing area. The lovingly designed interior features artistic details such as a Tiffany-style stained glass window and a Madonna with grapes. Today, the small structure serves cyclists and hikers as a popular resting place for contemplative breaks, as well as a destination for regional pilgrimages and devotions.
