Trailhead to the trail system. Easy loop was actually a little more challenging then I was expecting. Some drops, lots of roots, etc.

There is a bench here, overlooking a 100 foot drop to the river. I was here years ago when it was just a single walking path, it's neat in the fall.

Margaret Lake may be dwarfed by most of the other lakes in Lake Elmo Park Reserve, but it's still a very pretty destination. There is a complete trail loop around Margaret Lake, but biking is only allowed on the paved trail to the west. However, you can use that trail to string together a ride on some of the turf trails to the west of Margaret Lake, where mountain biking is allowed.

Eagle Point Lake is one of a few bodies of water within Lake Elmo Park. It has trails all around it and gets its name from the fact that so many eagles call its shores home.
