Unfortunately, this short boardwalk has disappeared for good and the approach to it (from the parking lot on Deutersestraat) is overgrown. It was a nice detour to get to the former railway embankment.

Beautiful route along the Iron Man in Vught. Terraces nearby, benches to rest and you can even get into the water. It can be quite busy, especially on days off and with nice weather. Take it easy then!

As of June 2025 this part of the Vlonderpad is closed off and it seems to be overgrown. We couldn’t go there.

Beautiful piece of protected nature. Boardwalk through marshland, wide footpath through the meadows. After a period of rain, the approach route from the Vlijmenseweg can be difficult to walk.

Impressive place. Beautifully constructed museum and more than ever needed. A bit odd that it is located next to a current detention center.
