Careful, the cliff top is near to landslide and the strong winds at the top make it impossible to stand.

High climb, worth it for the view.

The cliff path is unsafe East of West Bay, but running along the beach on the wet sand (probably best to avoid high tide) is really wonderful. If you are willing to run through shallow water, you can ford the R Bride and then go back up to the cliff path. Otherwise, track up the steep shingle and follow the R Bride's West Bank through the caravan park to cross it further up. I followed the fence at the top of the hill and climbed over a fence to join the cliff edge path.

The Platform Restaurant is an award-winning, quirky station carriage, turned into a restaurant serving a variety of seafood, steak and burger dishes. The quirky and vintage railway station brings an old-world location into the modern day. This unique restaurant is a must-visit in the West Bay area.

The Highest point of all the JC. which is surprising as having walked the entire coast, I actually thought other sections were a lot tougher to climb, but the views I can imagine are amazing on the right day. we chose..... not the right day lol
