You are spoiled for choice for quintessential Cotswolds villages in this area, and Little Rissington is no exception. Little Rissington is quite a tiny village, even in Cotswolds standards, and displays a unique set of beautiful cottages and farmhouses. There is also a red phone box library and village church.

Great Rissington is a typical Cotswold village located in Gloucestershire. It features a wonderful collection of stone houses and cottages, a 12th century church, and a great local pub, The Lamb Inn.

Lovely stone steps across the gentle River Eye - one of the smallest in the Cotswolds. Near Greystones Nature reserve which can be accessed from Bourton on the water.

A wonderfully unspoilt little idyll, many of Wyck Rissington's houses date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The village green, duck pond and Victorian drinking fountain only add to this essence of olde worlde splendour. Objectives for local walks include Wyck Beacon, a 6-foot (2 m) round barrow, and Salmondsbury Camp Iron Age hillfort, with its substantial earthworks.

So many footpaths to choose from surrounding and in the village itself. Gentle ascents and descents, be mindful of the nettles.
