The colorful stones that decorate the Ełk promenade are about 20m long and are hand-painted. The stones were painted by, among others, residents of Spain and children from Nairobi.

On a small sign on the road from Stare Juchy to Ełk, just before Woszczele, there is an inscription that this is a cemetery from the period of World War I. The necropolis is not very well maintained. After entering the forest and driving about 50 m, turn left and you will reach the cemetery.

The section starts at an old oak tree and ends at a poultry farm at the end of the forest. The route has several climbs and as many descents. A very fast section, but you have to watch out for animals that like to cross your path.

A beautiful old oak tree at the fork in the road. For those who don't know where to go, a stone signpost will be helpful.

The village church is something special with its venerable wooden tower. The interior is rather lavish, as is typical locally. I was also impressed by the very well-kept German war memorial from World War I. By the way, across the street there is a very nice bathing area down by the lake.

Currently, there are fewer routes in the forest near Selment Wielki Lake on which you can move freely. All this because Via Baltica often appears as an obstacle and you have to look for places where you can drive under or over it. A short but nice forest section is marked here.
