The Hermitage of Santa Bárbara is located at the top of the Sierra de Santa Bárbara, in Higuera de la Sierra. Although the hermitage is unfinished, it has become one of the best viewing points for contemplating the town and its surroundings.

Simple mountain church from the 16th century. Its clock stands out in the bell tower, which is at an odd angle to it, making it clearly visible from the city (see photo). I've never seen anything like it. The wonderful views of the Aracena reservoir and the surrounding area are also worth a visit.

Beautiful hermitage that is located on the rise of the small mountain that is located behind the Higuera de la Sierra. Forests of scrub on one side and olive trees on the other, some of them large and many years old!

At the southern end of the Minilla Reservoir there is a rest area with a restaurant and close to the road that comes from Ronquillo. The dam wall is not at this point but there are some very good views of the dam.
