Westfeld is one of those Sauerland villages where you immediately feel like time is passing by a little more slowly. Half-timbered houses, flower-filled balconies, and rolling hills all around create that characteristic, warm village atmosphere. The village is beautifully nestled between forests and meadows, allowing you to step directly into nature from almost every street. In the morning, a light mist often hangs over the fields, and towards evening, the hills turn a soft gold in the last rays of sunlight. Westfeld is small but welcoming. It's the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours, or simply for relaxing on a terrace after an active day outdoors.

The Lenne is a 129.1 km long river. It also flows through Schmallenberg. Its source is in Winterberg on the Kahler Asten; it flows into the Ruhr in Hagen.

Nice idea with the benches for resting, but in really sunny weather, a roof would be an advantage.

The beautiful, cold Lenne. Great especially for dogs
