The landmark of Wasserburg, the Catholic parish church of St. George with its beautiful onion dome, known as a "Welsh dome." From Wikipedia: The first church on the island of Wasserburg, mentioned in 784, was probably built of wood. The current chancel (altar area) evolved from a Gothic predecessor (around 1400), which likely also included the base of the originally pointed church tower. In the 17th century, the tower of St. George's Church received a "Welsh dome" in the style of the Augsburg architect Elias Holl. The interior is adorned with a Baroque high altar featuring life-size figures of Saints Gallus and Otmar. An epitaph of Count Leopold Fugger can be found above the sacristy door. Stone plaques on three of the four main pillars commemorate the freezing of the lake in the years 1573, 1830 and 1963. The ceiling frescoes (1918/19) by Otto Hämmerle (* 1881 to after 1944) with motifs from the history of Wasserburg, as well as the richly decorated organ, are noteworthy.

Fantastic viewpoint with 3 benches on the southwest slope of the Ringoldsberg, a vineyard above Lindau-Schönau.

Unfortunately, the chapel isn't open to the public; you can only peek through the church window. Nevertheless, it's worth a detour, whether on foot or by bike, as you'll enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Constance and the Alps from here. You'll find plenty of seating next to the chapel.

A fountain in Hattnau (a district of the municipality of Wasserburg) with a park bench, trash can, and a small wooden house with seating. Apparently (or hopefully) drinking water.
