Rémelfing (German: Remelfingen) is a French commune with around 1,400 inhabitants in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarreguemines. In 1891, the industrialist Eduard Jaunez bought the medieval Remelfingen Castle and converted it into a modern country estate. In 1912, the Reichseisenbahnen in Alsace-Lorraine bought the castle and had it demolished in order to be able to expand the shunting facilities at Remelfingen train station.
