The best road cycling routes in Billund

It's a shame it closes early. You definitely won't be able to visit Legoland and Lego House in one day.

I really enjoyed this section of my walk around Billund. There are some really unique and interesting exhibits.

This route takes you through a beautiful landscape with fields, plantations and meadows along the Omme Å. Here you can experience how people have influenced nature over time, for example through the historic canal system for irrigating meadows or the remains of the old fish farm. Highlights include the picturesque river valley with its rich wildlife and the "Æ Kirkehus", the oldest house in Filskov. It is also worth taking a detour to Filskov Church with its small museum and great views. Finally, you can visit the modern Multihus with a shelter and barbecue area - perfect for a break in nature!

These five pink marble sculptures called "Legekontrakten" (The Play Contract) were created with the aim of bringing everyone - children and adults - together to play together. St. Nicholas' Church in Vejle is a significant historical and architectural landmark. Here are some key details: Historical significance: Dating back to the 13th century, the church is the oldest building in Vejle. It was originally built in the late Romanesque style and later expanded into a Gothic hall church. Architecture: The church features a mix of architectural styles created through various renovations over the centuries. It features a notable neo-Gothic tower added in the late 19th century. Special features: Inside the church are the remains of the Haraldskær Woman, a well-preserved Iron Age corpse displayed in a glass-covered sarcophagus. The outer wall of the northern transept features 23 spherical indentations used to hold the skulls of 17th-century robbers.
