After passing the Sanglier trail and then the Covetan chairlift, the path winds pleasantly through the woods of the same name until this crossroads between the path to reach "sous Chard du Beurre", the one that leads to Lachat (and its pleasant restaurant lost in the forest) and the last one a little lower down to reach the Plan Chardon mountain pasture with its balcony over Mont-Blanc... This path is ideal for magnificent views of the sunsets over the north of the Bauges and the Val d'Arly...

Superb panorama from the belvedere at the top of Chard du Beurre (which also serves as a solarium for a relaxing break!)

Little-known and little-frequented pass, the climb is done alone and without a sound in the forest. The view is magnificent and on arrival, the refuge allows you to have a small drink (⚠️payment by species only). The road is in poor condition and it can be disturbing on the way down. If you have a Gravel and courage, the thirst route (Gravel/mountain bike path) allows you to reach the Col des Aravis and is magnificent.
