In the small village of Meursault in Burgundy there is a particularly fascinating church dedicated to Saint Nicholas. This building is characterized by its architecture, which combines Romanesque and Gothic styles, thus reflecting centuries of history and art. Originally, Romanesque chapels stood on its site, but over the centuries it was destroyed and rebuilt several times, giving it the appearance we see today. In the 19th century, the addition of three naves transformed the building into a real basilica.
