I didn't expect to find this little paradise so close to the city center. Unfortunately, when the water level is high, the path is impassable and flooded.

The Pont-Vieux d'Albi is one of the old bridges of medieval origin still in use. When you visit the city, crossing it gives access to one of the most beautiful views of the Berbie Palace and the Sainte-Cécile Cathedral. Linking the two banks of the Tarn, the Pont-vieux is a World Heritage Site of Albi, registered in the UNESCO perimeter of the episcopal city and classified as a historic monument since 1961.

Ruins of a medieval village abandoned in the 16th century and lost in the forest. You can still see the remains of the old mill, including huge millstones, as well as a little higher the remains of the Labastide Vassals keep which once dominated the old medieval village.
