The view from the bench is now overgrown, and the main road is very loud. Nevertheless, we enjoy coming here, and the hut is always open. Ideal for a break in bad weather.

Climb along the Bermersbach valley with a considerable climb but a well-developed path over the Pionierstein to the Steinfirst wind farm. Red k-diamond, Kandel high trail. Descent via yellow diamond over the ridge between Strohbach on the right and the Bermersbach valley on the left.
