Small village built on the banks of the Yonne, where the Nivernais canal greenway passes. There is a great little campsite if you want to stop there and above all a café, "le P'tit Bouchon". Without pretension, it has just reopened. The ideal stop, which brings a good dose of comfort, during rainy outings. The café (where food is also served) was open each time I visited. A real blessing when you know that most bistros close in small villages!

The village is home to a very beautiful castle dating from the 14th century, belonging by inheritance or sale to many private families. The writer Jules Renard (1864-1910) lived his entire childhood in the village. He was mayor of the village from 1904 until his death. He is buried in the village cemetery.

Corbigny was once one of the first stops for pilgrims leaving Vézelay bound for Santiago de Compostela. The city center is full of shops and cafes.
