A beautiful, picturesque valley with a babbling brook. Really a good place to take a break.

The canal lies quietly next to the road and is home to all sorts of waterfowl and other creatures.

Well-placed detour to avoid the road on the east-west axis, but this section is a bit technical. Mountain bikers, you'll have no problem. But, fellow gravel riders, be warned: going up (eastbound), it's steep and rocky, although quite doable at a slow pace. In the opposite direction, however, it looks like a pretty treacherous descent, so be careful!

The hike is beautiful and safe. Except for one major drawback: if you have a dog, be careful because there are several farm properties with dogs running free!! There is a waterfall at the end of the hike.
