The eastern stretch along the Kleine Wümme is generally less busy than the western one, although the asphalt on the western side is somewhat better. Both routes meet again at the Dammsiel junction. Currently (July 2025), however, there is no access due to construction work.

Unfortunately, I couldn't capture it well on camera, but this stretch of road could easily be on the North Sea. The absolutely chic houses, the dike, which is great for cycling, the vastness... If the Wümme River roared a bit more like the North Sea, it would be perfect! 👍
