The Hunungue Canal is no longer used for shipping. The locks are no longer needed either. A beautiful look into the past. A beautiful environment in the nature reserve.

After talking to the locals, I learned that the old bridge was torn down two years ago and a not very romantic concrete bridge was created.

The port is set in lush greenery on the territory of an authentic Rhineland village in the plain of Alsace, offering all the services and useful local shops. The basin is equipped with 53 rings and yachtsmen who stop there have all the equipment necessary for their stay: pontoons supplied with water and electricity, comfortable toilets and a mini waste disposal centre.
