In my opinion, this section is definitely NOT a highlight. While the path does lead through a forest, the condition of the trail is anything but "great." First bumpy, then badly damaged. If you want to avoid the road and are riding a mountain bike or a bike with comfortable suspension, this section might be okay. Definitely not recommended for trekking bikes without suspension.
