The exact date of construction of the castle is not known. However, the parish register mentions in 1694 "the presence at a baptism of the lady-in-waiting of Madame de Combes de Lys, wife of Claude César de Combes, owner of the castle". The monument consists of a central building body surrounded by two wings. The construction is made of bricks and stones, some of which are molded.
