June 7, 2026, Kurpark Bad Belzig Anglerteich

The angler's pond in the Kurpark Bad Belzig is an idyllic body of water. The approximately 1.42-hectare pond is located directly on the northern edge of the Kurpark on Brandenburger Straße and in close proximity to the well-known Stein Therme. The body of water is intensively managed by the Angelverein Bad Belzig e.V. (Bad Belzig Angling Club). The main fish species include carp, perch, tench, pike, and roach. A circular path leads completely around the wooded pond. It is also connected to the local health walk (Terrainkurweg TK 1).

Geography The Caputher See lies south of the Havel and is touched by the village of Caputh on its northern and western sides. The village is also the namesake for the lake. Due to the lowered groundwater level, a former drainage ditch from the Lienewitzsee to the Caputher See has dried up. In the north, the lake has a channel-like connection to the Havel that has also dried up (in 2018). Source Wikipedia

Nature in its primeval form. The "Glindow Alps" are left to their own devices, which isn't necessarily a good thing.
