The Fos footbridge spans the Garonne, which at this level is still a small bucolic watercourse. What makes the beauty of the place is not really due to the village of Fos itself but more to its protected natural environment. The village is surrounded by Natura 2000 sites and natural areas of ecological, faunal and floristic interest.

The Col de Caude, accessible from Boutx or Bezins, offers lovely views and provides access to the Pic du Gar to the west and to the Pic de l'Escalette and then to the Pic de Gagire to the east.

A rolling path overlooking the valley with class. A beautiful stone work dating from a time when Man designed junctions like masterpieces. Be careful at the start, the path overlooks cliffs but you can ride without difficulty. A small slab of rock that you pass by bike or not and then have a great time!

Descending the crête de Sacaube was tremendous fun. I can only recommend this variant of the GR10. Unfortunately no picture of the wonderful serpentines. Double room and dinner at La Gentilhommiere in Fos was great! From here I was traveling with my son for 2 weeks. Tour to the highlight: https://www.komoot.de/tour/340691902?ref=itd
