The chapel belongs to the Holy Spirit Hospital, founded around 1336, which was located directly outside Angermünde's former city walls and was completely destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. In 1698, the chapel was transferred to the French Reformed congregation of Angermünde, subsequently repaired, and a half-timbered tower was added. This was rebuilt in 1775. Very nice view. Be careful for everyone with narrow tires not to get stuck on the bridge ‼️

The fieldstone hall with a flat roof was built in the second half of the 13th century. After partial destruction in the mid-19th century, the church was rebuilt in 1856. A three-sided choir and a brick tower were added to the eastern end. In 1936, a morgue was built on the north side. The spire dates back to the 1970s. What is striking is the massive supporting pillars on the western side and the very narrow entrance. The simple interior design dates from the second half of the 19th century. In the church there is a historic Grüneberg organ from 1888. In the tower there is a historic bell from 1856, from the workshop of Carl-Friedrich Voss, a bell-founder from Szczecin.
