The descent through the gravel field is unpleasant. It's better to do my tour the other way around. Tip: Be quiet: See animals.

From the forepeak onwards, it becomes dangerous for inexperienced climbers. Take a 30m rope with you.

The path is easy to walk and not dangerous anywhere. You just need some stamina to get to the top

Hello everyone What a mountain hike! This tour has been on my to-do list for a long time. This tour starts directly at the car park at the brunnialp restaurant (fee applies) Today, with fair weather, it was finally time. Perfect conditions and simply fantastic - the view of the Alps and down to the lakes was simply a dream. Once at the top, there was also a Nussgipfel with a delicious coffee. Up here at the hut at Gross Mythen, I had the best Nussgipfel I've ever eaten. Simply delicious. :-) For me, it was a moderately difficult mountain hike, but for others it can be a difficult mountain tour. Hiking poles are recommended if you feel safer with them. Make sure that fitness is a must, as is alpine experience. We changed our planned tour a little about 1 km before the end. There were a lot of cows with their calves where we had to go. That could have been unpleasant, as the cows protect their young. That's why we adapted the tour. At the point where the sign prohibiting pedestrians and cars is, we walked about 10 meters across the meadow to the parking lot. Information about the Gross Myten: A serpentine path with over 47 bends and a stone bench leads up to a fantastic panoramic view of the Glarus and Uri Alps, Lake Lucerne and the lowlands. A classic with a steep climb. But be careful, when it's wet and foggy the path is slippery and it's like a tricky mountain hike. Nevertheless, over 40,000 people visit it every year. Highlights that I experienced: - Pure nature - Fantastic view of the Alps - The Nussgipfel is amazing FYI: Here's the video about it relive.cc/view/vevYp8JJkyq Equipment: Normal hiking equipment FYI: Moderately difficult mountain hike Difficulty level: T3 (mountain hiking)

Very steep climb, good footwear required, you should also not be afraid of heights 🙋♂️

The climb is quite steep and requires surefootedness, but is rewarded with a unique view.

At hairpin bend 22, take the Schafweg (T5, UIAA II), which is worthwhile for sure-footed hikers. Deep views guaranteed and narrow routing :)
